Enhancing your productivity using mobile/desktop apps and add-ons is common these days. We have compiled a list of such apps for you to be used in your day to day life.

Scanbot

Scanbot is the simplest and fastest way to create high-quality scans with your iPhones, iPads or Android devices. When you scan a document, Scanbot gives you hundreds of options to capture the document perfectly, crop the document, correct it and apply the filter.

Momentum App

This app greets the user and asks about their main focus for today. Each time you open up a new tab, the app pops up and reminds you to keep on track. It replaces the default browser tab which usually tempts the user to go to unproductive websites.

Ad Blocker Plus

This free extension blocks all ads that play on a website or video. This has been mentioned earlier as well and yet we are still amazed how many employees still do not know about it.

Pocket

It’s known as the app to collect the articles you want to read later. It is pretty easy to use. When you find an article worth reading, hit the button and it saves it for offline use. When you are free, you can return to an article on your list on your phone or computer.

Pocket lets you accumulate great content wherever you find it. After you’re done reading, send them to another friend’s Pocket, or share on Facebook, Twitter, Evernote, or Email.

PushBullet

Pushbullet is another free app that will save users a lot of time especially while transferring links, articles, text, images or anything from mobile to their PCs wirelessly.

All that is required is to install the app on the smartphones and on the PC Web browser. The app has the ability to mirror Smartphone notifications on the PC screen, from where they can reply to texts, emails, delete emails, get notified about incoming calls and more.

Apps which we are already using and encourage all new joiners to use:

  • Lastpass
  • Trello
  • Grammarly
  • Data Miner
